Introduction

This group has potential to be a beneficial learning experience. I am very happy to host events for this meetup; it's my pride and joy. I look forward making new friends, chatting with old friends, and learning with all of you.

¿Que te gustaría hacer para mejorar tu español? (What would you like to do improve your Spanish for the better?)

I could use more practice speaking Spanish and writing in Spanish. I have a minor in Spanish. In high school, I took the Spanish AP test, so I tested out of many college Spanish classes.

¿Cuales son algunas de tus lugares favoritos para comer comida Hispana? (What are some of your favorite Hispanic restaurants?)

I love local restaurants, love going to places I have never gone before. The best al pastor tacos come from a little taco truck called Taqueria Jalisco, when the taco craving hits that's where I go. haha

¿De donde eres? ¿De donde es tu familia? (Where are you from? Where is your family from?)

I'm a native Houstonian; I heart Texas! My family is from Puerto Rico (La Isla del Encanto). My step sisters are from Colombia and Honduras.

¿Quiénes son tus celebridades favoritos de origen hispano? (What are your favorite celebrities of Hispanic origen? actor, musician, singer, comedian, etc.

My new favorite song is "Ni rosas ni juguetes" by Paulina Rubio. I am a fan of Julieta Venegas, Mana, Bellanova, Shakira, Ricky Martin, and Alex Cuba. Gabriel Iglesias is my fav comedian. Paz Vega is one of my fav actresses.
