Photo Day at the Zoo
One of the best ways to explore your city is to discover what it's skyline and landscape have to offer, take in a breath of fresh air and let your photography whims run wild.
Grab your still shot camera or professional DLSR camera and take your favorite pictures of the Houston landscapes or funny pictures of animals.
Be creative by trying different picture effects like black and white and sepia lenses, panorama views or highlight a single color in your photo and see how amazing it looks.
When you're done taking photos you can create books or calendars or even postcards to send to friends and family. My favorite website is www.mypublisher.com. Print your favorite photos from the meetup and take them to our next meeting and share your experiences with everyone.
If everyone is feeling rampant, we have the option to continue the meetup in other parks around downtown, for example, Discovery Green or Buffalo Bayou Park.
The Houston Zoo cares for dozens of animals. There will be plenty of moments to capture with your camera. Tickets are $13 for adults, and there are numerous coupons.

Spectacled Bears & Grizzly Bears

Hello All, I have just been notified that Bella is in the hospital and will not be able to host or help host the event. She is doing well and recuperating from a not so serious issue yet unfortunately she will not be able to attend this Saturday's of Sunday's events. We will try amd meet at the front gate amd purchase ticket together. Parking is terrible at the zoo. If you can use the park and ride on Fannin and take the tram in. You also get a $2 discount.with your metro ticket. Call me if you have.problems or cant find us. 910 431 1483.
