Our second book for 2011 is Short Spanish Stories 2

This is a dual language book, like the one we completed

- one page is in Spanish the other in English.

Short Spanish Stories 2 is a collection of 9

short stories in Spanish and English.

Each week we will read

1 short story from this book.

You will have a chance to read out loud,

ask questions, and discuss short stories.

If you want to improve your English, you

can volunteer to read the English version

of the short story. This way, everyone improves

their second language at the same time.

Here's a tentative schedule

of the short stories we will be reading.

Just bought book on my cell kindle! I started reading the 1st story only to stop on the 2nd page... I was reading El arepentido.. The 1st story of the book.. When I recalled Bella's story schedule..
Mi pregunta, empiezo a leer The Thunderbox para estar lista para el Sabado? or am I to wait and read it together?..

You're welcome to read "Thunderbox" in advance. The benefits to reading it beforehand is: (1) it will be easier to read outloud if you've read it before, (2) it improves comprehension of the story, (3) it helps you formulate any questions you have about the story. Still, it's optional to read the story beforehand as we will be reading the story together during the meetup.

I have a NOOKcolor, but rarely use it. I cannot imagine trying to do a dual language book in that format.
